While I've been mentioning it a lot, I have not posted the details for Romeo & Juliet since August and folks have been asking me about the run (I promise, I will put those postcards in my damned bag soon!). Since we open in less than 2 weeks (eek!), I thought I'd re-post in case any of you would like to try to attend.

The lovely and talented Alice Wedoff as Juliet

It's a short run and a popular piece so if you are interested, you may want to make reservations or buy tickets on-line. It's hard for me to be objective about the show, and reviews won't be out for a bit...but I promise, this will be like no other R&J that you've seen...

I SO wish I could get up there to see you in this. I just finished teaching my Shakespeare unit at school and am all in love again.

Re: ohhh
Thank you darlin'...I wish you could see it as well. I think we'd have fun dissecting it in the bar afterwords. Our director is doing some fresh things with it and I'd love to hear your opinion but I know I'm a long way away. Stupid distance!!! :)

Can't wait! I'm hearing buzz, however, that Lady Capulet steals the show.

You know, when other actors are having big moments, I've made a choice to moon the audience. Why have those big skirts if you can't hide a surprise up there?

You think that's stealing focus?

Hmm, I suppose. But I bet you'd get a powerful review!

Well you know what they say - There are no small parts, only large butt cheeks.

It's a little-known bit of theatre lore - but no less wise.
