Tomato burst sweetens lips,
spills summer’s sugar seed
down happy chins.

These ejaculations make us giggle,
grateful to be alive
in life’s garden.

Soon the winds will carry orange and ginger.
But not now.

Now Lugh remembers
and we make love in the tall wheat.

(Note: This feels influenced by the Lorna Crozier poetry I've been reading, so I wanted to give her a nod. She's delightful.)

This is so beautifully evocative and sensual! I sent it (with proper credit of course) to my favorite bio-sexual.
