On-line dating doesn't do much for me so I don't put a lot of energy into it. I have one dating profile out there which I wrote less than a year ago and have not updated. At the time I wrote it, we were in the throws of gardening, so I reference our green efforts and trials with the squirrels (whom I clearly love, but still...).

Today, I got this message from a potential suitor:

reading your bio... and thought I might suggest eating the "evil" squirrels...? I used to try to eat one a year...just to remind them (the evil squirrel species) which one of us sat higher on the food chain.

Now do you think he's trying to woo the foodie in me, or the vegetarian? ;>)

Wow. Yeah, I've had a lot of really clueless emails on OKC...but this one is pretty special.

I think he was trying to woo your animal nature!

The very thought of online dating gives me nightmares. And this kind of insanity tells me why.
